HARC General Membership Meeting – Special Presentation

The Henderson Amateur Radio Club, Inc. holds monthly general membership meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Anyone interested in Amateur Radio may attend. You do not have to be a club member to attend.
Our presentation this month will be Efficient Antennas for Limited Space and Time presented by Tom Schiller, N6BT

Because of the evening meeting, we will not have a Tuesday breakfast meeting this week. Our Talk-in Station will go live at 5:15 PM. Get on the check-in list. I heard that there might be a prize!
Tom Schiller N6BT from Next Generation Antennas will attend this presentation in person. At the meeting, we are accepting candy donations for our upcoming community outreach in October. Please bring a bag of candy if you can.
The club will participate in at least one (possibly two) Trunk-or-Treat. The first one will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 6350 North Fort Apache Road in Las Vegas on Friday, October 25, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. As part of our trunk haunt, we will have ham radios set up on HF and the local bands. For those on the north/west side of town (Summerlin, Centennial Hills, and Skye Canyon), this is a HARC event right in your backyard.
Not only will we be able to show off our wonderful hobby to youth, but also grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, aunt, and uncle who will be escorting their kids. Who knows? Maybe we’ll recruit some new hams without a club into the club.
