ASK THE PROS NIGHT or as it is sometimes called STUMP THE CHUMPS!

ASK THE PROS night is the perfect time to get those questions that never come to mind when someone is on the air that can help with your dilemma.

Anything and everything Electronics…Communications…IT/ Computers…FCC…Home-Brew Fabrication…Antennas…Space communications or Ham Radio in general, can be answered here on ASK THE PROS night.

Whether you consider yourself an Expert in a field or a beginner or a user, your comments and expertise is valued and we want to hear from you.

To use a quote from the NEW HAMS NET, YOU CAN’T MAKE A MISTAKE HERE!

The more participation the more interesting the Tek Net is.

If you are working on any projects, lets hear about them.

Someone’s comment may be just what you may find to be a great addition to your project’s plan.

 Example…Here is a 250Khz to 15Mhz

AM Regenerative receiver built by Robert N7FLR.

It uses different coils to cover portions of the radio frequency spectrum.

Maybe there’s a schematic that your having questions about, the Tek Net has an incredibly large base of folks that are very much versed in the field of schematic reading/ understanding & deciphering these drawnings.

Step up and take the mic ( heard that on the New Hams Net also!) and lets see what we can dive into this week.

In two weeks on July 31, 2022 the topic will be building your own receiver, Robert N7FLR will be displaying several Regenerative receiver kits that he has built. These are an inexpensive way to have fun building a receiver and hear whats going on the shortwave bands.

It should make for a interesting Q & A session.

Until next week….HAPPY HAMMING!
