The Henderson Amateur Radio Club, Inc. W7HEN is always seeking ways to get involved and serve our local community. As a club that embraces hams of all ages, a few parents in the group expressed interest in having the club setup a trunk for local Trunk-or-Treats. For those unfamiliar with Trunk-or-Treats, these events serve as an opportunity for area youth to engage in the usual Halloween Trick-or-Treat activity, but in a controlled environment. At our September meeting, club members donated over 40 pounds of candy.

We distributed over 100 pounds worth of candy to over 1,100 area youth. We also were able to pick-up a few more states as the club worked toward the WAS awards.
